Pourquoi ?

Broccoli is an excellent source of vitamins C and K, fiber, and folate. Small amounts are a healthy supplement to a dog's diet. The crunchy stalk and florets are both safe.

The isothiocyanate compounds in broccoli florets can cause stomach irritation, gas, and diarrhea if eaten in large quantities. The stems are lower in these compounds and better tolerated. Keeping broccoli to under 10% of daily food intake avoids GI issues for most dogs; over 25% can be genuinely harmful.

Cooked broccoli (steamed, no seasoning) is easier to digest. Raw broccoli is safe but may cause more gas.
